What you will learn.
- Switch between Auto and fixed inner-drawer positioning.
- Adjust the position of an inner drawer within an opening.
- Add an inner panel and inspect how the parts behave when opening.
Choose the position deliberately.
Inner drawers sit within the cabinet opening rather than replacing the outer front. The lesson compares Auto positioning with a fixed position so you can see the effect in the preview.
Adjust one setting at a time and open the outer front to inspect the relationship between the inner drawer, surrounding panels and available space.
Check the interior before placing it.
The inner-panel example shows an additional panel within the opening. Observe which parts move when the assembly opens and which remain fixed.
Use the current Configuration reference for the relevant row and its parameters. Check the clearances and hardware requirements for the actual cabinet you intend to build.
